The NCAA provides institutions with the use of the Student Assistance Fund (SAF), which is intended to assist in covering student-athletes’ non-athletics-related costs while attending an institution.
SAF assistance is never a guarantee and is limited to assist a great number of needs across ASU’s student-athlete population. As such, student-athletes should consult with the Compliance Office before incurring expenses that they expect to be covered under the SAF.
To apply for SAF funds, student-athletes must consult the Compliance Office and complete the Student Assistance Fund form found in the ARMS Launch Workflow section.
